WE BELIEVE the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writings and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21).
WE BELIEVE in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who directly created all things in six literal days and who is sovereign over all (Genesis 1; Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Revelation 4:11).
WE BELIEVE Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, and that He is 100 percent God and 100 percent man (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:1, 14; Romans 1:3-4).
WE BELIEVE humans were created in the image of God as only male or female, that humankind sinned by choosing to disobey God and follow Satan, the author of sin and god of this age, and that thereby humankind incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. Further, every human being is born with a sinful nature and becomes an accountable sinner in thought, word, and deed (Genesis 1:26-27; 3; Ephesians 2:1-3; Romans 5:12; Ecclesiastes 12:14).
WE BELIEVE the Lord Jesus Christ died in our place for our sins as our sacrifice, according to the Scriptures, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 3:22-26; 5:6-9; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His bodily ascension into heaven, and His present life there for us as our High Priest and Advocate (Mark 16:6; Acts 1:1-11; Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 2:1).
WE BELIEVE in “that blessed hope,” the personal, pre-millennial, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Titus 2:11-14; Luke 12:35-40; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
WE BELIEVE all who receive, by faith alone, the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are born again by the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God (John 1:12-13; 3:5; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:23).
WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of both saved and unsaved as well as the everlasting joy of the saved and the everlasting conscious suffering of the lost (1 Corinthians 15; 2 Corinthians 5:8; Philippians 1:23; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9; Revelation 20:11-15).
WE BELIEVE Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, to show forth in a solemn and wonderful way our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior and our union with Him in death to sin and resurrection unto newness of life (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4).
WE BELIEVE Communion is a memorial service to remember what Christ has done for us in His death and to stimulate true harmony with God and other believers (1 Corinthians 11:23-34).
WE BELIEVE it is the duty of each believer to strive daily to live a Spirit-enabled, holy life unto God through the filling, or control, by the Spirit because of our baptism with the Spirit at regeneration. Further, revelatory spiritual gifts are not experiences to be sought or promoted by the believer as they have ceased with the completion of the Bible (1 Thessalonians 4:1-8; Romans 8:1-14; 12:1-2; Galatians 5:16-26; Ephesians 4:17-24; 5:18; 1 Corinthians 12:13; 13:8-10).
WE BELIEVE the church is God’s chosen way to work in this age and that it exists for the purpose of making disciples of Christ through evangelism, baptism, and obedience to Biblical teaching; carrying out Christ’s commands of baptism and communion, giving, service, and missions; and functioning under His authority through the Holy Spirit’s direction in every believer and led by the Biblical offices of Pastor and Deacons, free from any outside authority in church matters (Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1:17-23; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 11:23; 2 Corinthians 8-9; 1 Timothy 3:1-13).
